Jesse Coffey

Life Coach for Young Men

Jesse is passionate about seeing young men thrive in a world that’s becoming increasingly difficult to navigate. Through guided conversations and intentional goal-setting, Jesse’s measured approach encourages forward thinking, self-discipline, and accountability. In addition to his role as a life coach, Jesse is the Special Education Department Chair at Ravenwood High School, where he enjoys the challenge of turning abstract ideas into concrete understanding.

MORE ABOUT JESSE

Hey! I’m Jesse. I hear more and more about how young men are struggling with the weight of expectations. Whether in school, at work, in relationships, or deciding on the future, students are being pulled in every direction these days. Much of my role as a teacher the last few years has been to not only teach how to find the volume of a square pyramid, but also to equip students with the tools they need to be successful in every aspect of their lives. And while I’ll continue my work in the academic setting, I’ve felt a nudge to expand this role beyond our school walls to any high school or college-aged guys who crave organization, direction, or growth.

I started life coaching because I want to see young men live life well in a world that’s becoming increasingly difficult to navigate. Whether you want to improve your grades, become more disciplined, or simply figure out what’s next, life coaching can be the bridge that takes you from where you are to where you want to be.

I was born and raised in Batavia, Illinois, and grew up with three brothers. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Taylor University, where I was also an All-Conference shooting guard on the basketball team. A few years later, I completed my Master of Special Education degree at Aurora University. I moved to Tennessee in 2022 and married my astonishingly beautiful wife, Mattie, in 2023. We live in Spring Hill, Tennessee.

I’ve gathered experience from over nine years serving young men as a high school Special Education teacher, a high school youth group leader, and a life coach for young men. During this time, I’ve been a participant or co-leader on mission trips to Kenya, Ecuador, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Mexico, Minneapolis-St. Paul, and Chicago. I collect movie ticket stubs. I love riddles. And I consider myself elite when it comes to NBA trivia.
